British Library National Life Stories Review of 2010/2011

The British Library’s National Life Stories Review of 2010-2011 has been published and is available on-line, and there’s quite a bit to get your teeth into!

It gives  an update on the work of the NLS, including  their on-going projects  An Oral History of British ScienceAn Oral History of the Water IndustryAn Oral History of Barings, and Architects’ Lives.

The Review also includes pieces on Digital capture, archiving and online access by Elspeth Millar, video interviewing by Tom Lean, and Reflections on a life story recording by Alison Gilmour and Fred Holliday,  whilst Paul Merchant writes about the Gendered cultures of science, Niamh Dillon shares some interviewees’ childhoods, and Johnnie Russell and Katharine Haydon discuss Enriching a paper archive with oral history.
