New and improved British Library Sounds website

The British Library Sounds has a new website that lets you listen to 50,000 tracks of music, spoken word and environments, dating from the 1900s to the present day. You can also browse very popular sound maps including dialects from all over Britain and thousands of nature sounds The website is a taste of the Library’s vast sound collection, which includes over 3.5 million items. Members at licensed UK universities and colleges may additionally download tracks for their research.
