The Britannia Museum Trust, BRNC Dartmouth

£24,000 – over the term of the Project, which is to commence as soon as possible and complete by Oct 2017.   Attendance/working time is flexible but will average 2 days a week, on a self-employed basis.

The Britannia Museum Trust is seeking to contract a Project Manager to deliver an Oral History Project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience of project management and working independently.  Applicants should have proven IT skills, an understanding of Oral History and be willing to travel to achieve the objectives.  An interest in or knowledge of the Royal Navy would be an advantage. We aim to record oral histories of former naval officer cadets and create an exhibition based upon their college life from the 1930’s to 1980’s.  Volunteers will need to be recruited and trained to assist with interviews.  The contract will be awarded based on a number of core competences.

Interviews will take place at BRNC on 2nd June 2015
