Fixed Term Contract for 12 months to Cover Maternity Leave. Part time – 28 hours (0.8 FTE) per week over 4 days

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the world’s leading oral history centres working in an expert team. The role involves developing, managing, documenting, interpreting and promoting the Library’s oral history collections, engaging with a wide variety of partners, users and funders, including National Life Stories, the charitable trust based within the oral history section.

We are looking for a graduate or postgraduate with demonstrable knowledge and experience of oral history; proven leadership and management skills; employment experience in a library, archive or other relevant environment; competence in using audio equipment and working with digital audio; and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
