Job Opportunity: Conference Administrator for the Oral History Society

The Oral History Society, the UK’s leading oral history voluntary membership organisation, is seeking to appoint a part-time conference administrator to support the Society’s annual conference planning group, taking responsibility for key administrative and planning tasks leading up to and during the conference. OHS’s annual conference has been held in many venues across the UK, often in conjunction with local partner organisations. Conference delegates attend from all over the world and range widely in number (from 100-300) and in background, depending on the conference theme and location (

The role is flexible and home-based with an expectation of a minimum requirement of 50-75 hours per annum at £20/hour, plus travel and expenses.
