Job Opportunity: Oral History Journal Editorial Assistant

The Oral History Society, the UK’s leading oral history voluntary membership organisation (and charity), is seeking an experienced Editorial Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the Society’s twice-annual journal Oral History, with a key focus on day-to-day liaison with authors and the editorial team, and administration of quarterly journal editorial meetings.

The role is flexible and home-based with an expectation of a minimum requirement of 100-150 hours per annum at £20/hour plus travel and expenses. Attendance at editorial meetings in London is required.

Responsible to the Editorial Team on a day-to-day basis and to the Society Secretary acting on behalf of the Society Committee of trustees.
