OHS-IHR Seminar: Women’s Cricket in C20th- London, 6 October 2016

The first Oral History Society/ Institute of Historical Research oral history research seminar of the 2016-17 academic year will take place at 6pm on Thursday 6 October 2016.

Raf Nicholson from Queen Mary University of London will be leading the seminar titled, “Cricket was my escape”: oral histories of women’s cricket and women’s leisure in 20th century Britain. The seminar begins at 6pm and is free and open to all.

The seminar, held in conjunction with the sport and leisure seminar, takes place in John S Cohen Room 203, Institute of Historical Research, Senate House, Malet St, London WC1E 7HU.
